The legend that is Paul McCartney is set to grace Canada with his presence once more in September. Famous for his part in the Beatles, Wings as well as a strong solo career, he last visited the shores in 2012 with his show at Rexall Place. This time around he will be strutting his stuff at Rogers Place. With shows all over Canada scheduled there is enough room to accommodate extras should they sell out fast. Each show is scheduled for three hours of Beatles cover hits which flooded the airwaves during the period 1960 to 1970. Tickets start at $39.90, you simply can’t afford to miss it.
Freshen Up Tour
76 Year old McCartney’s Freshen Up Tour which is part of the promotion for his latest album, Egypt, sees the gem from Liverpool at venues all over Canada. Quebec City hosts the star on September 17 while Montreal has the honor on the 20th. Winnipeg is dazzled on the 28th. Shows are expected to sell out fast but there is room to add more events should the need arise. Paul Haagenson of Live Nation Canada reminisces about the performance in Edmonton he last experienced. He is convinced the performance will be sterling and unforgettable as only McCartney can pull off.
McCartney On The Tour
McCartney has been recorded saying that they have always loved playing in Canada and that they can’t wait to return to the country for another set of special shows.
